Join Community Partners for Affordable Housing as we host over a dozen Northwest authors at HomeWord Bound on Friday, April 8, 2016, 6-10 p.m. at the Oregon Zoo.

HomeWord Bound, CPAH’s signature fundraiser and well-respected literary event, includes dinner, silent auction, and local authors signing books available for purchase.

Founded in 1993, Community Partners for Affordable Housing, Inc., provides safe, healthy and sustainable affordable housing along with skill-building activities to individuals and families of modest means in Southeastern Washington County and Southwest Portland.

Broadway Books Reading w/Arthur Bradford

Back from my west coast tour, I’ll be reading at home in Portland at the legendary Broadway Books along with Oregon Book Award Finalist Arthur Bradford.

We’ll both be reading from our recent story collections, People Like You and Turtleface and Beyond.

As I said to Arthur, I’m pretty sure if his book sat next to my book in a bar, they’d be fast friends.

See you there.

It’s Not Me, It’s You: Stories From the Dark Side of Dating

Join me at the Alberta Rose for the 7th annual fundraiser for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon.

I’m part of a STELLAR line-up of comics, writers, storytellers, actors, including Sean Jordan, Courtenay Hameister, Arthur Bradford, Shannon Graves, Joanna Miller, Molly Norton,  Bri Pruett, and my current Portland obsession Dwayne Molock aka Moshow, the feminist cat rapper. He will knock your socks off!

You do not want to miss this one.
